Local Chapters

Society for Neurochemistry (SNCI) is constituted for promoting neurochemistry/neuroscience and to create interest among younger generation towards studying neurochemistry. The SNCI promotes neurochemistry by organizing conferences and workshops at different Universities, research institutes of India. These workshops/schools are directed to train interested young students in the basic techniques in neurochemistry/ neuroscience.

To further encourage faculty and students of particular region/place, local chapters are proposed. These local chapters will organize one-day symposium based on specific theme to encourage and enrich knowledge of the students in the neurochemistry/ neuroscience apart from the annual meetings being organized elsewhere. At present few local chapters of SNCI are formed.
